Egyszer megláttam egy szürke pulóvert Andy-n (Style Scrapbook), és szabályosan megbűvölt. Divattól függetlenül mindig is szerettem a kötött holmikat, egy időben sokat készítettem magam is. Az utóbbi időben próbálok arra törekedni, hogy mindig legyen valami különleges részlet a kötött pulóverben. Hát Andy pulóverje maga a megtestesült különlegesség: ezek a tekergő fonatok, gyönyörű. Of course it looks wonderful on her slim figure, it wouldn't look the same on mine, but even so I was inspired by these braids and decided to retailor one of my old sweater a little bit. Well, it was the old sweater:
Persze az ő vékony, karcsú alakján csodálatosan néz ki, rajtam azért már más lenne, de mégis ezek a fonatok megihlettek, hogy egy régi pulóvert egy kicsit átalakítsak. A régi darab így nézett ki:
I had only 10 dkg knitting wool remained so I could not make such a rich ornament on the sweater, but I tried to bring the impression. First I removed the neck of the sweater, then knitted long stripes with plain knitting. The slimmer stripes were embraided, but I left the thicker ones alone. Finally I arranged the braids and stripes, then stitched on the front of sweater. I applied a braid also over the neck-line.
Csak 10 deka fonalam maradt, szóval nem tudtam olyan gazdag díszítést készíteni, de azért próbáltam azt a hatást hozni. Először lefejtettem a nyakrészt, majd hosszú csíkokat kötöttem.sima kötéssel. A vékonyabb szalagokat befontam, de a vastagabbakat úgy hagytam. Végül elrendeztem a fonatokat és a csíkokat a pulóver elején, majd felvarrtam őket. A nyakkivágásra szintén egy fonatot applikáltam.
